Smart Dating Advice to disregard.

Are you overwhelmed with many dating advice you received from people and unsure which to follow now? You are not alone.

When you are dating, you are bound to receive so much dating advice from your family and friends. That’s not a bad thing to do; however, you must weigh those advices before you apply them in your relationship to avoid unnecessary issues. In this article, I will show you some of the dating advice you must disregard and which to inculcate into your relationship.

If this is what you want, then follow me closely.

Here is Why:

There is so much dating advice out there—on the internet, books, CDs, and seminars—all about the roles of a man and a woman during dating. While some of the dating advice works perfectly well, most of them no longer fit the move of how things work in the world today and have left both men and women in the middle of the sea, when it comes to finding love.

Question is which report will you accept? Which courtship/dating advice should you adopt now? In this article, I will show you some dating advice you must disregard completely. They sound smart, but they are not good to work with.

Here are a few reasons you must read this article

  • You will learn what dating advice works and what doesn’t.
  • It will help you streamline your search for that near-perfect spouse.
  • You will also know which dating advice you must disregard or take.

If you are ready for that, then let’s go.

Dating Advice You Must Disregard.

1 Every dating must lead to marriage:

Although this dating advice sounds so sweet and true, it is not true. Every dating doesn’t result in marriage. It is important to have the full purpose of courtship which is marriage in mind when you are dating, but that doesn’t mean it will result in marriage.

Dating is surely a time to mingle with someone, and a time people know if two of you are fit for each other. But if you find out that you are not compatible with each other, your next step is to quit and go your separate ways.

If all is well, then you are free to go ahead and marry. You must always be ready to let go of any relationship that doesn’t work out.

Don’t see it as a failure, but as a learning process.

2. The good guys are all taken:

This dating advice is also a lie. There are lots of nice guys out there, and believe me when I tell you that your man is there waiting for you to show up. Men are like buses; when you miss one, another will surely appear.

Like I always say, be willing to let go of anything that didn’t work out well; keep searching and praying, and the man God reserved for you will come to you.

3: Date more than one man.

You have heard that it is good to date more than one man before you choose the right one from the crowd. But I implore you to ignore that advice. It is counterintuitive to your plans of focusing and anxiety about whom to choose, and you’ll always be worried about hurting someone else.

My question is this: what would you do if they found out? You may end losing all. Just stick to one man and see if it will work out for both of you.

4: You must offer sex to make him marry you:-

One thing I know is that sex can’t keep a man who does not wish to be kept.

Sex is not a criterion for marriage. The point is that any guy who wants a committed relationship with you may not feel pressured to have sex while you are dating, especially when he is considering a long-term relationship.

Again, sex was designed as ‘ a response to love and not a foundation “. It should be used as a seal and cement that holds an already established relationship. The fact is that the same guy you want to sleep with to get married could also be ready to lay another woman out there just to taste the water.

That’s the reason I said sex is not a criterion for marriage.

You’ll get to know more about your partner during dating:

Romance, how to date your partner again

It is possible that you can learn a few things about your partner during dating, but not all. A study conducted in 1997 shows that only couples who have stayed longer could know each other well.

The length of courtship is usually not enough to know him/her that well. Just seek to know as much as you can, and if you eventually commit to each other, then everything will be clear to you.

6: Disregard last-minute date invites.

You got a message from your date on Monday morning asking for a date in the evening. With excitement, you told your friends in the office about it, and you were bombarded with different pieces of advice.

Some said it’s good to honor it, and others asked you to play hard to get. Now, you want to make your date understand that you are the busy type, that you are mindful of your hubbies and that you prefer to socialize with your friends over anything else.

Did you know you could be missing out a lot doing that? Unplanned dates are always unforgettable.

7: Allow him to pay for the first date:-Although our parents did this, it no longer works in our day and age. Expecting a Man to Pay on your first date sounds good, but in our world today, it looks presumptuous.

Although most men like to pay on the first date, there is nothing wrong if you can ask him to let you pay. But if he insists, then let him do that,  but offer to pay the next time.

8: Let the guys make the first move.

Though this idea has a romantic feel to it, it is archaic. There is nothing wrong with traditional courting; however, be open-hearted and open-minded to a new approach toward dating. Take things into your own hands and ask that man out on a date, or even suggest a second meeting. After all, as the saying goes, “Ask and you shall receive.”

Embrace your power, come out of your comfort zone, and make a move. You will be surprised at how much confidence you attract into your life and all of the opportunities that are now available to you.

9. Do You Want to Talk About Your Past Relationship?

This is another smart date to neglect. Although it is not worth lingering over your past relationships, sharing experiences that are worth. It helps put your partner at ease and clears up many things. You will clear up the misconceptions and learn a lesson or two to avoid mistakes in open communication.

This will also bring out your vulnerable side and may help seal your bond. It is, however, a delicate balance to strike so that you don’t stay stuck in those past experiences but rather move constructively. By focusing on growth and mutual respect, past experiences can be used to enhance your current relationship without dwelling on negativity.

10. Playing Hard to Get Work Always:

Playing hard to get is another piece of dating advice you must disregard. It drives off some very real prospects. Authenticity and open lines of communication mean much in creating a meaningful relationship. The chase could be rewarding, but most of the time, it results in miscommunication and aggravation.

The significant elements that hold up a real relationship are trust, mutual respect, and transparency. Rather than waste your time playing games, know how to be honest about feelings and motives. This will help you attract partners who will love you for your true self—this is the only foundation on which a truly enduring relationship can be built.

11. Wait for the Perfect Time to Discuss Certain Issues:

Many couples wait for what they describe as the perfect time to have big talks. Really, there isn’t one. Open and honest communication is what builds up a healthy and enduring relationship. Sharing freely and regularly about what goes on in your mind enables mutual understanding and prevents misunderstandings due to assumptions.

It’s a very proactive way to have both partners on the same page, working towards a shared future, and thus enhancing the foundation of your relationship. So disregard such marriage advice to avoid mistakes.

Finally:-

Ultimately, with so much advice thrown at one on how to deal with dating, it can get downright overwhelming. Some tips may even sound really exciting, but sift through them carefully, for more often than not, the most important ones come from within—trusting in instincts and experiences.

However, note that successful relationships are built on authenticity, mutual respect, and clear communication. To get your current dating right, you must disregard those smart but bad advices and empower yourself to make better decisions this time.Always weigh those opinions and choose the ones that will help you improve your relationship rather than spoil it.
